​Dr MacGill is an experienced dermoscopist who works at SkinCheck, Northcote, Auckland. He gained further qualifications and recognition by studying in the advanced dermoscopy immersion course at the Graz University in Austria – focusing on chaos and clues and revised pattern analysis. He is involved in teaching both locally and internationally. He is highly experienced with all forms of cutaneous surgery and has been using complex flaps and grafts for many years. His experience in dermoscopy ensures he only removes lesions that need to be removed. He believes the greatest reward in medicine is the ongoing relationship with patients from all walks of life.
