One of the very few fully trained and accredited female plastic and hand surgeons operating in New Zealand, Dr Katarzyna Mackenzie has undertaken extensive training, research (PhD in skin cancer from the University of Otago) and fellowships in London and Canada. Subsequently, she has developed specialist interest in breast, abdomen, facial, hand surgery and the treatment of skin cancer and aesthetic reconstruction.
