Meet Our Member
Dr Katie Maver is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor working in Nelson. She holds Advanced Clinical Certificates in Dermoscopy, Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery from the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. Katie grew up and went to medical school in Tasmania and worked in hospitals in Australia before moving to New Zealand in 2010. Katie is passionate about skin cancer prevention, early skin cancer detection and minor surgery. She also teaches minor surgery skills workshops to trainee interns at Nelson Hospital.
